OUR STORY
GIA MINA is a Southern California-based swimwear brand dreamed and designed for those who are drawn to the sun and everything it represents: warmth, radiance, and energy.
This name captures the essence of how I feel and how I want you to feel when you wear these pieces: confident, beautiful, and entirely you. The inspiration for this brand is my grandmother (aka Nana), Guillermina.
My Nana is bold, adventurous, and completely at ease with who she is and what she does. She reminds me that confidence isn’t something you earn. It is something you return to. Something that is already yours. Spending a lot of my formative years in her loving care shaped something that I will carry forever. I was always encouraged to stand tall as I moved through the world. While I did not realize it then, she was shaping me into the woman and founder I would become. I am truly grateful.

Every creative journey begins somewhere.
When my debut summer collection came to life, the House Swim brand was born. It was the very beginning—the first sketch, the first sample, the first piece I ever put into the world. That chapter means so much to me.
As the brand took shape, so did my realization of what I am truly building. Something more than a name. Something deeply personal. My swimwear designs are an extension of who I am. Each piece is a way for me to share the energy that was poured into me with you. The vision became reality when the House Swim brand evolved into GIA MINA. Since this bold move, I have felt more excited than ever to bring these and more amazing collections to life.
Because I appreciate where this started, the debut release, The House Swim Capsule, carries the original branding on each piece. These pieces represent chapter one. The foundation of everything GIA MINA is becoming.
The House Swim capsule captures a moment in time. Once sold out, these pieces will never be made again.
